To sum things up, this typical Asian girl is a semi-extrovert and pessimistic person who prefers nature over hectic city life and animals over human.

 Lee Jia Yin, born in 1994. An ordinary outgoing girl from KL who loves outdoors activities and all sorts of adventures. Love traveling around the world, love music and animal, beach is always my favorite place to go. When you judge me without knowing me, you don't define me, you define yourself. Advise to myself: Don't assume.

My name is Cynthia Foo Hui Tze. I was born in Sri Aman, a small town of Sarawak. I'm a 21 years old student and currently studying law degree in Brickfields Asia College. I was assigned to be a program coordinator in this group assignment. I love nature and I hope more people can be aware of trees conservation and preservation.

 Hi, everyone! My name is Ng Kai Xin. I am from Johor, Malaysia. I am a student who is pursuing my degree. One of my hobbies is planting trees. I have cultivated this habit since young because of my grandmother. My grandmother has a ‘green hands’ that love to do planting of all kind of flowers, trees and vegetables too. I have learned the importance of keeping the environment green through my grandmother as the environment had deteriorated and polluted these days. Therefore, we need to lend our hand to our Mother Nature by helping to plant and nurture trees. We got what the Mother Nature had given us, so don’t forget her contribution and love her!

 I am Lee Meng Nee, 20 years old this year. I am studying Year 2 LLB in Brickfields Asia College. My hometown is Ipoh, Perak and I am currently staying in Damansara to further my studies in Kuala Lumpur.

My name is Jocelyn Chai Wanning and I'm from Klang. I'm a 20 year old law student in Brickfields Asia College. For this group project, I was given the position of publicity coordinator. I hope our project succeeds in encouraging more people to take better care of plants.

Free Tree Society

Free Tree Society Kuala Lumpur is based on very simple principles - we take seeds, we sprout them, we look after the seedlings, then we give away healthy little plants to the public for free on environmental holidays!
Through this act of giving away plants for free we hope to encourage a whole host of other green goals and objectives, such as to:
- Increase and improve the suburban and city greenscape;
- Educate people on the correct way to plant and care for trees;
- Increase peoples' awareness of environmental holidays;
- Encourage a love of local plants; and
- Establish a dedicated plant society where like-minded city greenies can come together for the love of plants and grow and nurture seedlings in a sustainable and environmentally conscious manner.
